Walking the tracks..

A couple shots from this afternoon.. The boys and I decided to take a walk over to the tracks that run out off behind the neighborhood. Not much to see but the sunset was pretty dramatic. It was worth freezing my fingers off for these two pics. I am pretty happy with both of them..

Reflections on the foreground. (5 Exposure HDR)

Hill Country in HDR

A few HDR images from this weekend in Leakey, this should wrap up the Leakey posts for a bit (minus the super awesome pics of Mrs. Catie that I will be working on tomorrow). The trip was fantastic and between Catie and I we managed to take just over 1000 pics in three days. Wow! That’s like using up 1/10 of the shutter life on the camera, whoops… Anyway, these were all multi-expsosure images (ranging from 3 to 15 exposures) that were developed in lightroom, merged and tone mapped in photomatix.

My personal favorite.

Clear springs everywhere, this one spills into a 4ft deep hole, it doesn’t look 4ft deep does it?
